GUEST BLOGGER – I still believed I wasn’t much of a runner…

Always smiling

When I found out about AdventRunning in 2014, I had never run more than 10km, never thought I could ever run more than 3 days in a row and still believed I wasn’t much of a runner. To be honest, I only decided to do it to try stay out of the pub and out of trouble during the silly season!

I completed my 25 runs in 25 days (!) and signed up for my first half marathon shortly after. Flash forward to 2015 where I’ve run 4 half marathons, 1 full one and my diary is already packed with races and adventures with AR next year.

“Confidence, inner peace and fitness.”

More than confidence, some inner peace and fitness, I’ve gained true companionship with these little legends and I’m so proud to call them my closest friends now. On the one hand it feels like 01/12/2014 was only yesterday but on the other hand I can’t remember a time when my life didn’t involve Tuesday track sessions, early morning #BeigelRuns on a Friday, jumping photo shots… and an even bigger appreciation for beer. Big up, James and Claudi. You guys AR(e) the raddest.
